How should I contact a proffesor in order to get a letter of
recomendation? Should I email the professor first and ask if he
wants do write the letter for me? Or should I mail all the documents
to the professor with a short note explaining who I am and what I
want? Or should I go and see him in person? Thank you for help.

Sure, why not? If the prof agrees to be a reference for you, then you can
discuss how to supply him with the relevant paperwork.
